Barents Spektakel 2022 in Russia!

Barents Spektakel takes place in several places and for the 2022 edition of the festival there will be a number of projects and events in several Russian cities. The main purpose is to strengthen the festival’s cross-border profile and maintain and strengthen cooperation with our Russian partners. It is also a response to a desire and goal of a more environmentally friendly production and exploration of new ways to “meet” and collaborate! Barents Spektakel 2022 will, in addition to being a local festival in Kirkenes, also be held in Murmansk, St.Petersburg, Petrozavodsk and Nikel!

In Murmansk we collaborate with Barents Bird, in Nikel with Friday Milk and Second School, Center of Folk Art and Cultural Initiatives of the Republic of Karelia in Petrozavodsk and Milieu #301 in St.Petersburg.

Programs for the various satellites will be posted on our website. We look forward to further developing cooperation and friendship with our Russian partners!
