Kaos Spektakel and Basen 2.0 Opening

Basen 2.0 marks a brand new name and a new venue aimed at breathing life into Kaos Spektakel! Basen 2.0 is a cultural activity aimed at youth groups in Sør-Varanger municipality. In parallel with this year’s Barents Spektakel there will be a number of events for young people at Basen 2.0.

The programme includes a graffiti workshop in Kirkenes with the artist Tegson (with a parallel workshop in Nikel). On Thursday 24. February, there will be an official opening of Basen 2.0 through the afternoon and evening – which is open to all who are curious! Parents who want to see the opportunities of Basen 2.0 are especially encouraged to stop by and say hello. Coffee and cake will be served!

On Friday, the graffiti workshop ends with some online conversations with Russia. The open youth club at Basen 2.0 is for everyone between 13 and 19 years. We serve food and drinks.

On Saturday 26. February there will be a workshop with the youth council in Sør-Varanger, Inari, and Petchenga called “Life for the Youth during the Corona Pandemic (school, social life, culture)” as well as a triple concert with Ballinciaga, HEUX and Olav Haust!
